Peter has completed The Alzheimer’s Cure. A short synopsis of the book can be found elsewhere on this site. As always, Peter has written the book in English. The manuscript thereof was adopted in submissions to different literary agents. Robert G. Diforio of D4EO Literary Agency was quick to reply. After having had his staff read the entire manuscript, he offered to represent Peter in finding a publisher for the book. He approached several publishers and while their reply was generally favorable (in three cases exceptionally so), it didn’t result in an offer to publish the book.
Peter then submitting the manuscript to a few hybrid publishers. Hybrid publishing has become popular recently. On sharing some of the cost of editing, proofreading, cover design, and printing, the author is paid between 75 and 90% of net book-sale revenue. Traditional publishers work with net author revenues amounting to no more than 15%. Atmosphere Press is the favorite hybrid publisher among authors that have had the experience of working in the field of hybrid publishing. They were quick to respond, and a contract to publish not only The Alzheimer’s Cure, but also Removal of the President was signed within a week. The books will appear in print in the early summer of 2025.
